A 5 kWth two-stage fuel reactor of chemical looping combustion facility was successfully built to carry out the characteristic research of coal chemical looping combustion. The experiment focused on the influence of temperature and gasifying agent on the combustion compensation efficiency

oxygen demand and carbon capture efficiency. The results showed that high temperature can significantly improve the combustion efficiency in which the CO2 concentration was up to 92.1% at 900℃. With the increase of temperature
CO2 capture efficiency and combustion compensation efficiency increased to 99.6% and 83.4% respectively
while the oxygen demand and carbon supplementation decreased to 12.1% and 4.8%. The CO2 serving as gasifying agent had an adverse effect on reaction efficiency that the oxygen demand was increased to 23%. In addition
there was a small amount of particles agglomeration in FR-Ⅰ
