The demulsification conditions and the design methods of alternating current high voltage electric demulsifier applied to emulsion liquid membranes have been

studied. The design methods of alternating current high voltage eletric demulsifier based on plate capacitor equivalent model have also been set up. The experimental results of batch and continuous electric demulsifier show that the electric demulsifier designed by this method can satisfy the process conditions.
