Genetic algorithm was used to estimate parameters in fermentation dynamic model and its effectiveness was tested with three typical models; 1. Equation for the density of bacteria body. 2. Equation for base consumption. 3. Equation for products. The estimation results obtained are better than those by using Marquardt Approach. Therefore
