Microbes play an important role in bioremediation technologies
the aim of this article was to investigate functional strains for soil bio-remediation.In this study benzo[a]pyrene(BaP)
benzo[a]anthracene(BaA)
benzo[b]fluoranthene(BbF)
benzo[k]fluoranthene(BkF)

3-cd]pyrene(IPY) were used as carbon and energy sources and 50 strains were isolated by steps including enrichment culture and plate cultivation from the contaminated soil at a coking plant in Beijing. The result of 16S rRNA gene sequencing analysis revealed that these strains were clustered into 15 groups and belonged to genera Sphingomonas,Methylobacterium,Burkholderia,Rhodococcus,Bradyrhizobium,Phyllobacterium,Chryseobacterium,Microbacteriumm,of which Sphingomonas was the dominant species. The highest degradation rates of BaA,BaP,BbF,BkF,IPY were 39.64%,33.52%,38.57%,25.37% and 31.17% respectively when tested with strain 3-6-12.The experimental results will be useful for bioremediation of PAHs-contaminated soil.
