A set of equipment of real-time measurement of aerosols concentration was established to survey of the diffusional and migratory behavior of aerosols in diffusion batteries by using aerosol counting instruments and chromatography analysis.Measurements of mean residence time and penetration of submicrometer aerosols in flows in tubes were made within the range of Reynolds numbers from 0.07 to 0.26 by widening of aerosols pulses analysis of monodisperse polystyrene spheres solid particles injected in clean nitrogen flow through a diffusion battery of capillary tubes.It was shown that the penetration of aerosol significantly depended on the mean flow velocity and particles size.On the other hand

the mean aerosol velocity weakly differs from the mean flow velocity.The results obtained were important in several applications

including aerosols sampling

detection and leakage evaluation.
