Pyrolysis of pubescens for high value-added chemicals
In order to efficiently utilize bamboo resources and increase the yield of high value-added products
pyrolysis-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(Py-GC/MS) was used to study the influence of temperature
time and pretreatment on pubescens pyrolysis. Temperature had an important effect on the pyrolysis process. With the increase of temperature in the range of 350-800℃
an increasing variety of products was obtained
and the total yield of products increased with the highest yield of target products at 600℃. The total yield of products increased with pyrolysis time until it reached a maximum. Alkali washing could improve the selectivity for phenols
but higher selectivity with stronger basic solution could decrease the yield of products after alkali washing.
