Producing PMMA fibers by electrospinning and model prediction
PMMA fibers were produced by electrospinning from PMMA(poly-methyl-methacrylate)/ethyl acetate solution.Scanning electron microscope(SEM)was used to observe the fibers morphology. The influence of solution concentration
solution flow rate and operating voltage on fiber average diameter was investigated. The Box-Behnken design was used with three main factors
i.e.PMMA solution concentration
solution flow rate and operating voltage.Average diameter of PMMA nanofiber was set as response value.A binary regression model with a high degree of matching the results of experiment was set up by regression analysis. In addition
the results of response surface analysis agreed with univariate analysis results.
