Simulation of initiative counter steam control during process of rapid deceleration in ship
The initiative counter steam control is an effective measure to ensure the system running correctly through avoiding the rise sharply of drum pressure during the rapid deceleration of steam power system. The simulation models of composition units were built including the supercharged boiler
main steam turbines
valve
condenser. The response pattern of steam power system on the different operating conditions of counter steam was researched. The results show that the max maximum opening of astern-valve should be 30% to 35% and the holding time of keeping the astern-valve at maximum is as short as possible.
