the recent research progress of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) removal using ionic liquids (ILs) is reviewed
mainly focusing on the research around the solubility of H2S in ionic liquids and the selectivity to other gases
the thermodynamics properties and the corresponding models of H2S-ILs system. The absorption mechanism is discussed considering the influence of the anion and cation
and the substituent group of ILs on the solubility. Then the development trends and research perspective in this field are given.
