Through series of visualized experiments

the phase split characteristic of slug flow and annular flow in a horizontal T-junction with diameter 0.5 mm was investigated.It is found the phase split curves of slug flow mainly locate at gas rich region.As the inlet liquid velocity increasing

the liquid taken off increases at low gas taken off but decreases at high gas taken off.As for the split curves of annular flow

they mainly locate at liquid rich region.The liquid taken off of annular flow decreases with increase of inlet liquid velocity but increases with increase of inlet gas velocity.
