2-dichlorobenzene adsorption on adsorbent N were investigated via the static adsorption experiments. The experimental results demonstrated that the adsorption isotherm of 1
2-dichlorobenzene adsorption on adsorbent N was S type
and Freundlich adsorption equation could describe the adsorption process well. The thermodynamic parameters illustrated that the adsorption was a spontaneous and exothermic process
belonging to physical adsorption. The adsorption dynamics appeared to be pseudo-second order equation. As adsorption temperature increased
adsorption rate constant and initial adsorption rate tended to increase. Based on the above-mentioned results
some guidance may be provided for the adsorption removal of organic chlorides from naphtha.
