A complex batch distillation column with cold storage is proposed
and a corresponding mathematical model with constant mole hold-up is also set up. The calculated results based on the proposed mathematical model agree well with the experimental data. The reliability of the distillation column for separating heat-sensitive materials is analyzed. It shows that complex batch distillation column with cold storage is fairly suitable for separating heat-sensitive materials.
