The effects of the pore structure of activated carbon and the humidity of inlet gas on desulfurization activity have been investigated. The experimental results showed that the pores within the range from 1 nm to 5 nm had the best desulfurization activity
and the relative humidity of inlet gas should be within 0. 85 -0. 95. These operating conditions are beneficial to increase in the volume of the water film
which favors improving the desulfurization rate and sulfur capacity.
