This paper deals with decolorization of anionic dyes
Methyl Orange
Acid Red 3BM and Mordant Blue I
by using poly(2-trimethylammoniumethyl methacrylate chloride) (PTMAC) with varying relative molecular mass and cationic ionization degree. The results show that both the relative molecular mass and cationic ionization degree of PTMAC and cationic group concentration will affect decolorization
while the decolorization rate relates to intensity and wave -length of absorption peak. Besides
the decolorization mechanism is discussed as well.
