Evaluation on effects of different carbon source on activating indigenous bacteria in Zhongyi block of Shengli Oilfield
Based on the reservoir fluid analysis for Zhongyi block of Shengli Oilfield
the effect of different carbon sources
including glucose
corn starch hydrolysates
wheat starch and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose
on activating indigenous microorganisms in the water from District 7N11 Wells was studied at high temperature (65℃)and high pressure (10 MPa)of reservoir conditions. The results showed that the carbon source could influence significantly growth cycle
community structures and metabolic activities
and the overall effect of corn starch hydrolyzates was better than others. The physical simulation experiments were carried out using the corn starch hydrolysates activator. The results indicated that oil production increased significantly
and the raise of oil recovery rate could reach 4.8% after 30 days’ activation.
