Removal of hydrogen sulfide in pressurized spout-fluid bed coal gasifer with calcium-based sorbents
Experimental study of removing hydrogen disulfide was carried out in a 0.1 MW thermal input pressurized spout-fluid bed during coal gasification. The effects of temperature
pressure
particle size of calcium-based desulfurizer and molar ratio of Ca to S were systematically investigated. The desulfurization efficiency increased with increasing temperature and operation pressure but the extent of increase became weaker. The desulfurization efficiency increased with increasing molar ratio of Ca to S
but did not increase greatly when the molar ratio of Ca to S was more than 2.The desulfurization efficiency increased with decreasing particle size of desulfurizer.
