The transmiting electric polyaniline was synthesized by emulsion polymerization which was carried out by using dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid as emulsifier
hexadecanol as cosurfactant
hydrochloric acid and dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid as doping agent
ammonium persulfate as initiator. The influences of reaction temperature
reaction time and ratios of aniline
dodecylbenzenzsulfonic
hexadecanol
chlorhydric and ammonium persulfate on the conductivity of polyaniline were studied. The experimental results showed the optimized technologic conditions as follows: reaction temperature 7 ℃
reaction time 6 h
the mole ratios of aniline∶dodecylbenzenzsulfonic∶hexadecanol∶chlorhydric∶ammonium persulfate were 0.05∶0.028∶0.04∶0.01∶0.05.The conductivity of polyaniline was improved by using hexadecanol as co-surfactant and hydrochloric acid and dodecylbenzenzsulfonic as dopant. At the same time the conduction mechanism of polyaniline was analyzed.
