Abstract: With the development of industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization, the contradiction between economic growth and environment protection becomes more and more prominent, which makes it of great significance to construct ecological civilization. Petrochemical, the pillar industry in China, has to provide green energy and product, and protect the ecological environment. The construction of ecological civilization will be greatly enhanced by upgrading the petrochemical industry through technical revolution, structure adjustment, intelligent construction and developing cyclic economics.

摘要： 随着工业化、城镇化和农业现代化持续推进，我国经济增长与资源环境之间的矛盾日益突出，加强生态文明建设显得尤为重要。石油石化工业是国民经济支柱产业，肩负着提供绿色能源和产品、保护生态环境的重大使命。通过技术创新、结构调整、智能化建设和发展循环经济，使石油石化产业升级，对促进我国生态文明建设意义重大。
